Female ejaculation in midlife: what you need to know

Female ejaculation, also known as squirting, is a rare phenomenon that can be experienced by some women during sexual arousal and orgasm.

However, many women are not aware of this possibility or do not know how to achieve it.

In this blog post, we will explore the question of at what age a woman stops ejaculating and how to keep ejaculating, if you are already capable of achieving it.

What is female ejaculation?

Ejaculation occurs when the Skene’s gland, also known as the female prostate, releases fluid that can be expelled through the urethra during sexual arousal and orgasm.

This fluid is not urine, but it is similar in composition and can be expelled in a similar manner.

Some women may experience ejaculation as a small amount of fluid, while others may experience it as a large amount.

Not all women can ejaculate

First, it is important to understand that not all women are physically capable of ejaculating, so if that is you, rest assured that you are in the vast majority.

The ability to ejaculate can vary from person to person and may change over time. Some women may be able to ejaculate at a young age while others may never be able to do so.

Therefore, there is no specific age at which a woman stops ejaculating. In other words, if you have always ejaculated you will probably continue to as you age, even into your seventies.

How can you achieve ejaculation and keep it going?

In order to achieve ejaculation, it is important to be relaxed and comfortable. Ejaculation, just like orgasms, can be more difficult to achieve if you are tense or anxious

Try to focus on your breath and release any tension you may be feeling. This is true whether you are masturbating or having sex with a partner.

If having sex with a partner, make the time for foreplay and erotic stimulation. This could be achieved with massage, erotic talk, sex toys, etc.

Engage in sexual activity that stimulates the G-spot

The G-spot is an area located on the front wall of the vagina, about 2-3 inches inside, and can be stimulated through finger or toy play.

G-spot stimulation can lead to a feeling of fullness or pressure that can build up to ejaculation.

Practicing kegel exercises can also help to increase the strength of your pelvic floor muscles, which can help with ejaculation.

That said, please know that not all women are able to even achieve an orgasm by stimulation of the G-spot alone and need clitoral stimulation to climax.

Focus on what feels good

The important thing is to focus on what feels good for you and to enjoy the experience.

The ability to ejaculate can vary from person to person and may change over time. As mentioned above, relaxation, G-spot stimulation, and kegel exercises can help increase the chances of ejaculation.

That said, if you are not able to always achieve an orgasm and if you are never able to ejaculate, this is absolutely normal.

Everyone is different

It’s important to remember that everyone’s body is different and that ejaculating is not something to be ashamed of not being able to do.

By understanding more about female ejaculation, you can open up a whole new world of pleasure and sexual exploration.

Once again, if you have always ejaculated, then your chances of continuing to do so in midlife are high, especially if you relax into the experience.

And if you have never experienced ejaculation, know that you can still have great orgasms after menopause.

So, either way, don’t be afraid to experiment and discover what works for you!
