A microdermabrasion treatment you can do at home

This post is sponsored by Trophy Skin and all opinions are my own

I’ve taken care of my skin from a very young age and at 55, I think it shows a little.

Of course time does make its mark and at this stage of the game I’m learning to work with what I’ve got.

I’ve also made peace with the lines around my eyes, for now!

I started stepping up my skin care treatments when I turned 50 but, to be quite honest, so far I haven’t undergone professional microdermabrasion sessions, because it’s time consuming and the cost can add up.

As a busy work-from-home mom of three, I don’t have a lot of extra time to spend at the spa.

Enough that I practice yoga daily, sleep as much as I can, and run my digital business, while doing my share of running the household.

Anything that helps me take care of myself -including my skin- from the comfort of my own home, is most welcome.

Microdermabrasion at home

I’ve been using Trophy Skin MicrodermMD Home Microdermabrasion System for over a month, and here is what I enjoyed about it:

First of all, it’s easy to use. The instructions are clear and simple.

The system has an auto mode, which is the one I’ve chosen almost every time I’ve used it.

Simply plug in and turn the device on, and follow the instructions on the LED screen, as to where to apply the diamond tip on your skin.

In five minutes, you are done! This includes face, neck and decolleté.

I have discoloration and also hyperpigmentation, also known as sun spots or age spots, which microdermabrasion is very effective at treating.

If you have sensitive skin, as I do, the first day you may experience a bit of redness, but mine subsided overnight.

I didn´t feel discomfort during the treatment, just a mild tingling.

I liked that after each use, two or three times a week, when I discarded the filter in the diamond tip, I could see the dead cells that had been sloughed off.

It made me feel I was doing something effective for my skin.

The instructions are clear and simple.
The entire process takes only 5 minutes

I also used the infusion tip, which helps the skin better absorb any skin-care products.

If you are able to master the microdermabrasion part of the treatment, then I assure you that this process is even easier and feels great.

I was able to use the system on the entire family

Now, the best part of it is that I was able to use the system on the entire family, using the pore extraction tip. I cleaned it really well between uses, trust me.

This pore extractor is honestly the best thing ever, for adults and teens alike. Both my daughters and my husband received a treatment from me and came back for more.

I also used it on myself. Even at my age, I still get clogged pores!

I would recommend this part of the treatment be done at a moderate to low setting the first time, and then space out the subsequent treatments.

It’s certainly more effective and less harmful for the skin than using one´s nails to try and extract blackheads!

Overall, I´m very pleased with how easy, simple and time-effective Trophy Skin MicrodermMD Home Microdermabrasion System is, and would recommend it to any woman seeking to reduce the appearance of sun damage and age spots and improve her skin ́s texture.
